I tried to think of some names for my app, I wanted it to be related to studying, since the main function of the app is going to be to find places that you can study. I first looked at a thesaurus for words that are similar to study, I found: Inquiry, Essay and Advancement, that I liked. I then had a look at fraises or words that are similar to ‘Looking for’ and found: Forage, Seek out and Gather. I then looked into translations for the word Study in different languages. Studie (German) étude (French) Studija (Bosnian) Etid (Haitian Creole) Yeongu (Korean) Studie (Swedish) Estudiar (Spanish) My favorite so far is Studie , however I am not sure about it yet.
I
wanted my color scheme to be pastel colors, as I want the app to look peaceful
yet colorful, however I wouldn’t use dark or bright colours as it could make
the app look intimidating.
I then chose the color blue because it is calm
looking, which is what I want my app to make people feel.
