I tried to think of some names for my app, I wanted it to be related to studying, since the main function of the app is going to be to find places that you can study. I first looked at a thesaurus for words that are similar to study, I found: Inquiry, Essay and Advancement, that I liked. I then had a look at fraises or words that are similar to ‘Looking for’ and found: Forage, Seek out and Gather. I then looked into translations for the word Study in different languages. Studie (German) étude (French) Studija (Bosnian) Etid (Haitian Creole) Yeongu (Korean) Studie (Swedish) Estudiar (Spanish) My favorite so far is Studie , however I am not sure about it yet.
This
is how I want my opening page to look like, the app will open to this page. I
would like there to be a bar at the top that says the name of the app and has
the logo next to it. Then below it I want there to be a map that shows where
the user is and shows places near by to them. Below that would be a button to
the categories section, then the next button is recent, then popular and then
ratings. Next to the writing on the buttons I want there to be little icons
that show the type of things they are for, for instance with the ratings button
it would have a small star next to it.
